The Duff Law Firm is proud to announce that Alexander T. Lewis, Esquire, has joined the firm as an associate attorney as of August 3, 2015.
Alex is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He received his law degree from George Mason University School of Law in May 2013, graduating cum laude in the top 20% of his class.
During his first year out of law school, Alex was the Judicial Clerk for The Honorable Lorraine Nordlund of the Fairfax County Circuit Court where he gained valuable experience from the court’s perspective in various matters of civil and criminal litigation, including family law.
From there, Alex joined the firm of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, L.L.P. as an associate where he handled high exposure tort litigation, professional liability defense and management employment defense.
Alex will be concentrating his practice with our firm in all areas of general civil litigation, with an emphasis in family law.
When Alex is not practicing law, he is actively involved in The Luv u Project in Memory of Carolyn C. Mattingly, Inc., a public charity to honor and continue the charitable works of his mother-in-law, Carolyn.
